Angela Bayer - Business Consultant

Since 1991 she is working as business consultant - since 1994 for her own company. Angela Bayer holds a B.Eng. in information management. Since 2001 she designed a training environment for Configuration and Change Management training at Airbus Germany as member of the CM training team. She is CMII certified since 2007 .

Jens von der Brelie - Group Manager Electronic Development and Deputy of Research & Development, ERCO Leuchten

CMC-2008_LOGO_ERCO.jpgJens von der Brelie holds a B.Eng. in electrical engineering from technical university Braunschweig. He was working in different positions as project manager and sales manager at AEG, General Electric, Zumtobel et al. Since 2004 he is group manager electronic development at ERCO Leuchten. He is responsible for the software and hardware development of light control systems and LED luminaires.

Jolanda van de Craats - Manager Infra Configuration Management, ProRAIL

CMC-2008_LOGO_ProRAIL.jpg Jolanda van de Craats works at ProRail in the Netherlands. ProRail takes care of railroads and enables rail traffic, taking the wishes of society into account. At ProRail she manages the department "InfraConfigurationManagement". With a Team of approximately 30 people she accepts, controls and releases all information that is being used for the development, building, maintenance and usage of the infrastructure in the Netherlands. Her main responsibility is that this information is correct and available for the users.

Thorsten Elsen - Product Manager Teamcenter, Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software 

CMC-2008_LOGO_Siemens.jpgThorsten Elsen holds a B.Eng. in business informatics. He started his business career working in administration of CAD systems at Siemens Nixdorf. Than he moved to SDRC to become application engineer for CAD. Since 2002 he was product manager at EDS and UGS. Since 2007 he is product manager for Teamcenter at Siemens PLM Software in Germany. He has intensive experience with management of CAD data, Product Data Management, Project- and Requirements Management and Product Lifecycle Management.

Norbert Griseti - Head of Telecommunications Satellites Product Data Management and Configuration & Chairmen for CM in EADS PLM - PHENIX Program, EADS Astrium

CMC-2008_LOGO_ASTRIUM.jpgNorbert Griseti started his career in 1986, on Manufacturing Resource Planning method and tool development for Matra Defense. He joint the CM domain in 1991 for Matra Defense as PDM Information System Project Manager, with a specific focus on configuration management for weapon systems development phase. Between 1997 and 1999, he took Project control and Finance responsibility for Matra Marconi Space Electronics Equipment and EEE parts Divisions. In 2000, he was nominated Head of Industrial Information System for Telecommunications Satellites Business Division; succeeding in large deployment of process and tool CM backbone for Eurostar 3000 satellites product family and associated customisation approach. To leverage dissemination of processes, he took responsibility of CM operationnal staff for the whole Business Division (France and UK). Since 2003, he is in his current position. He joined the EADS Phenix PLM program from the beginning, as EADS ASTRIUM BU representative in CM task Force; since February 2008, he is chairman of the CM task force.

Dieter Homp - Senior Consultant, Airbus CIMPA

siemens_logo-smallCMC-2008_LOGO_Airbus-CIMPA.jpgDieter Homp holds a M.A. in Mathematics, Physics, Politics from Uppsala University, Sweden. Since 2004 he is senior consultant for PLM consulting services at AIRBUS CIMPA. Before his current position he worked as IT coordinator and data management consultant for TCN - CAE engineering & services. From 1996 to 1997 he was a technical writer at DMT Essen, from 1993 to 1995 he was a teacher for Mathematics, Physics and political science at Bremen university.

David Kraus - Head of Configuraton Management Commercial Helicopter, Eurocopter

CMC-2008_LOGO_Eurocopter.jpgDavid Kraus is accountable for Configuration and Data Management for all commercial programs within Eurocopter. He is responsible for the Change Management Process and the PLM Data Management for the commercial programs including the LUH Program for the US army. D. Kraus is the Eurocopter representative for the CM task force within EADS Phenix program and takes the role as deputy of the chairman of EDAS CM Task Force. D. Kraus started his career within Eurocopter in 2000. He leaded projects for implementation of Quality Gates within the production process and for the setup of an integrated industrial planning for Eurocopter. Since 2006 he is in his current position. D. Kraus is CMII certified.

Peter Kuhlmeier - General Manager, Faktor-B

CMC-2008_LOGO_Faktor-B.jpgPeter Kuhlmeier is with his own company since 1989 working as trainer and human resource coach. Since 1997 he is business consultant - since 2004 he is president of Faktor-B Beratergesellschaft in Düsseldorf. He holds a B.A. and other degrees. Peter Kuhlmeier was a member of the team that developed a series of Configurtion Management trainings for Airbus Germany. He is CMII certified since 2007.

Dr. Alexander Lewald - Director Business Development, Parametric Technology

CMC-2008_LOGO_PTC.jpgDr. Lewald is Director Business Development for central Europe at PTC (Parametric Technology). His current focus is on automotive suppliers and OEMs in the automotive industry. He holds a B.Eng. in electrical engineering from Munich University and Engineering School of Stanford University, Palo Alto. He started his business career working as consultant for McKinsey and later moved to PTC.

Keith Luden - CMII Instructor and Colonel South African Air Force, ConfigOnline

CMC-2008_LOGO_ConfigOnlineS.jpgKeith Luden joined ConfigOnline in January 2008 after spending 38 years in the South African Air Force as a technical officer, rising to the rank of Colonel. During this period he was involved in all the phases of project management and exposed to many different systems types. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Project Management.

Dr. Oliver Mehl - Senior Project Manager, msg systems

CMC-2008_LOGO_MSG.jpgOliver Mehl studied computer science and received a PhD in 2006 from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Karlsruhe. Since 2006 he is employed at msg systems ag in Munich as senior project manager in the business division “Automotive”. Currently he is leading msg systems' process design and modelling team in the ACM project that implements Daimler's new engineering change management for Mercedes-Benz Cars.

Paul O'Neill - Quality Specialist, Evolve Quality Systems

CMC-2008_LOGO_EvolveQuality.jpgPaul has forty-two years’ experience of industry ranging from shipbuilding and the British Merchant Navy to telecommunication software design and engineering. As an electrical / electronic engineer, more latterly as a software and systems designer, but also as a consumer, a commuter, and a voter, Paul has developed an approach to quality that tackles head on the failure of individual quality tools, management theories and consultancies to make a step change in the quality experienced by customers of most organisations.

Dr. Hermann Pätzold - RACE Project Manager, Rieter Automotive Management

CMC-2008_LOGO_Rieter-Automo.jpgDr. Hermann Pätzold is RACE Project Manager at Rieter Automotive in Winterthur, Switzerland. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the ETH Zürich, Switzerland where he also earned his doctorate (Dr. sc. techn., 1981) during employment at ABB, Switzerland. His research activities have been concerned with the development of numerical methods like transonic fluid flow modelling and ray tracing technologies. He managed various research projects in vehicle acoustics and vibration predictions. Since 2003 he is responsible for the deployment and usage of PLM at Rieter Automotive.

Frank Rethmann - Head of Configuration Management NH90, Eurocopter

CMC-2008_LOGO_Eurocopter.jpgFrank Rethmann is accountable for Configuration Management and Data Management for the NH90 program within Eurocopter. He started his career 2000 at Fairchild Dornier joined Eurocopter in 2002 in the production as Serial Design Engineer and later as team leader and responsible of the production configuration and cost estimation of NH90 Program. Since 2006 he is in his current position. F. Rethmann is CMII certified since January 2008.

Jürgen Scharpf - Head of Engineering Change Management, Daimler

CMC-2008_LOGO_Daimler.jpgSince 31 years Jürgen Scharpf is working in several positions at Daimler. Since 4 years he is responsible for process and system design on managing engineering changes for Mercedes-Benz Cars. In addition to this he is leader of the international SASIG ECM working group.

Dr. Hans-Peter Steiert - Technical Architect, Daimler

CMC-2008_LOGO_Daimler.jpgDr. Hans-Peter Steiert studied computer science and received a PhD in 2001. Since then he is employed at Daimler AG. After several years at Daimler Research he is currently responsible for the IT track of the ACM project which implements Daimler's new engineering change management for Mercedes-Benz Cars.

Ad Thielen - Data & Configuration Manager, Thales Division Land & Joint Systems - Holland

CMC-2008_LOGO_Thales.jpgAd Thielen is working since 2004 at Thales Division Land & Joint Systems as Data & Configuration Manager. He is responsible for the implementation and practical deployment of the Thales CM policy. He is project manager for the PLM system Windchill PDMLink and the tools Pro|INTRALINK and Pro|ENGINEER. Before his current position he was working in other divisions at Thales and as a consultant for Pro|ENGINEER and Pro|MECHANICA software tools at several companies.

Charles Wassen - SAP and GES Program Manager, Delphi Germany

Dirk Wessel - ACCS Configuration Management Engineer, NATO Air Command and Control System Management Agency (NACMA)

Since 1999 in NATO Air Command and Control System Management Agency (NACMA) Configuration Management working on the ACCS and TBMD programme. Co-Author of NATO Publications (STANAGs, CMPs, Handbooks) on Configuration Management and Namespace Management. CMII Certified.

Ray Wozny - CMII Instructor, Institute of Configuration Management

icm-logo.jpgRay has over 23 years of experience in high tech firms with 19 in management. He has held various management positions and has been instrumental in implementing three PDM/PLM solutions. Ray has extensive experience in configuration management, technical publications and design support. He received CMII certification in 1989 and was on the ACDM's founding Board of Governors.
