The Configuration Management Conference 2007 with CMII Europe was a great success. This is part 1 of the conference report. 
It was the right decision to merge 2 conferences in 2007. Numbers speak for themselves: 
- 145 attendee
 s total from
- 12 nations,
- 42 attendees at the pre-conference (CMII Tutorial)
- and 7 of the most-known tool vendors
participated from July 2 - 4, 2007 at Airbus Hamburg (Pre-conference at Golden Tulip Hotel) to exchange information about configuration and change management.

As part of the pre-conference Steve Easterbrook of ICM gave a CMII introduction on July 2, 2007.

The main conference started on July 3, 2007. Attendees got picked up at the hotel with 2 busses to drive to the Airbus plant.
