Our 9th CMII Europe 2010 Conference in Amsterdam, was again a very sucessful event with very positive feedback. The practical and high level presentations and the location in the historic Koepelkerk were much appreciated.

Our PreConference with 23 attendees did start on Monday with the CMII Tutorial, an introduction into the CMII standard:

The MainConference supported by our 8 exhibition-partners, did start on Tuesday with the introduction keynote by Prof. Dr. Thomas Prefi from University Aachen "Enabling organizations to deal with necessary complexity".

The CMII awareness and introduction by Carol Cotty (South Africa) was followed by 6 further exciting presentations with practical background from different industries.

The boat-trip through Amsterdams canals with dinner ended the first Conference day.

Prof. Dr. Rudolf Kriens, Eindhoven University of Technology opened the second day with this keynote "Product developement in the 2010ths - are you ready for the challenges?". In many of the very practical presentations and the lively discussions, CMII was mentioned as "the enabler" for the success of CM projects.

As such, Martin Stucki from Swisshelicopter, pointed out this fact of implementing CMII as the foundation for optimized processes within a development of a complete new helicopter generation based on latest technology.

The event was closed by Prof. Dr. Peter Fromm from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with his very lively presentation.

The number of 111 attendees from 11 countries indicates the ongoing and increasing interest on the CMII standard in Europe.
